This is our second litter of Japanese Chin puppies; these will be the last puppies available while we live here in the Lovejoy, GA, area.  We are not a kennel.  We raise these babies as part of our household so they are accustomed to being around people, being handled, common commands, obedience and understand their place in the scheme of things.

Also, I might add, they know what a cat is and enjoy the company of our household cat.  We are not sure the feeling is mutual, but generally cat tolerates the dogs pretty well until he finally gets up and moves out of reach, which is rare since he is a pretty laid back sort of guy.

Baby Japanese Chins are normally left with their mother for the first three months of their lives before being adopted out to their permanent home. All our babies arrive pre-spoiled and are raised with lots of TLC.

We spoil the mommy with special treats, fresh meat and even goat milk. Everyone shares in these goodies, though, so no chin feels left out.  They all, also receive fresh fruit throughout the week, such as watermelon, banana and pineapple.  These are their favorites.

Each puppy receives regular veteranary care from their first week after birth, including - dew claw removal, de-worming, puppy shots and Heartguard heartworm prevention treatment monthly.

The puppies are accustomed to wearing a harness, going for walks on a leash, comprehend basic commands of "NO", "In", "Out", "Move", "Come here".

These wee ones exhibit a high level of intelligence, eagerness to learn and willingness to please and obey their owner.  They should be very easily trained to do tricks and obey your commands.  Plus, they have a natural inclination to bark alarm for you should they feel you or their territory are threatened by a stranger.  They will let you know. But they also have shown they will learn what "no bark" means too.  They love to sit up high where they can keep an eye on your realm for you. They have a high level of loyalty toward their owner and usually do not take easily to strangers.
